Stull Family and Community Education unit will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Joyce Radkte. The lesson will be “New Guinea.”

Wesley Callahan, president, led the monthly meeting of Palmyra 4-H Club on Feb. 3 at Ives Chapel Church in Baldwin. Jaimie Goff, secretary, read the minutes of the last meeting. Katie Krysztof gave the treasurer’s report. Micheala Krysztof led the group in singing “Frog On a Log.” Kaitlyn Christie gave a demonstration on how to make an Almond Bark Popcorn snack. Wesley Callahan gave a project talk on cattle tracking. Erin Jensen gave a dance demonstration. Katie Patrick and Olivia Beins lead the group in playing a game. The club made valentines for the troop over seas.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. March 2 at the church.

Lone Star 4-H Club met Feb. 14 at the Lone Star Church. It was Parents Night. A square-dance presentation was given before the meeting. The meeting was called to order by David Metsker. Members answered roll call by naming their favorite saying on valentine hearts.

Mary Berg gave the community leaders report. She recognized members who participated in County Club Days. Berg said she was looking for volunteers to be camp counselors and for people interested in being a member of the Douglas County Committee for the State Fair Centennial Celebration.

Current events were given by Lori Queen and Deb Caffey. Mary Berg gave a demonstration about sheep.

The next meeting will be March 14 at the church.
