Chicago Board of Trade

Grain and soybean futures jumped higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 10 1/2 cents to $3.23 1/4 a bushel; March corn rose 5 3/4 cents to $2.11 1/2 a bushel; March oats rose 1 1/4 cent to $1.57 1/2 a bushel; March soybeans rose 28 1/2 cents to $5.97 1/2 a bushel.

Beef futures retreated on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Pork futures finished mixed.

March live cattle fell 1.40 cent to 85.90 cents a pound; March feeder cattle fell .67 cent to 98.40 cents a pound; April lean hogs fell .75 cent to 74.15 cents a pound; March pork bellies rose .63 cent to 87.40 cents a pound.
