Pete H. Cale, DeSoto

Services for Pete H. Cale, 69, De Soto, will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel in De Soto.

Mr. Cale died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at a Shawnee hospital.

He was born Dec. 9, 1935, in Bergholz, Ohio, the son of Margaret Cale.

Mr. Cale served in the U.S. Air Force. He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years until he started at Cannon Trucking in 1996. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6654.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Cale, of the home; four daughters, Angela Spencer and Carol Williamson, both of Lawrence, Katy Cale, Yankton, S.D., and Heather Ginger, De Soto; three sons, Pete Jr., Yankton, John, Topeka, and Mike, Sweet Home, Ore.; and 17 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the chapel.
