Harold E. Deay, Waverly

WAVERLY ? Services for Harold E. Deay, 94, Waverly, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bethany Church of Christ in Waverly. Burial will be in Deay Cemetery near Eudora.

Mr. Deay died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at Coffey County Hospital in Burlington.

He was born July 23, 1910, in Eudora, the son of Marshall and Etta F. Ogle Deay. He moved from Eudora to Waverly at age 10. He became a resident of Sunset Manor five years ago.

Mr. Deay was a farmer and stockman on the Deay farm east of Waverly. He was a member of Bethany Church of Christ.

Survivors include four nephews and two nieces.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington.
