Chicago Board of Trade

Grain and soybean prices jumped higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for March delivery rose 16 1/2 cents to $3.12 1/2 a bushel; March corn rose 7 1/2 cents to $2.07 1/2 a bushel; March oats remained unchanged at $1.59 1/2 a bushel; March soybeans rose 24 1/2 cents to $5.77 a bushel. Beef and pork futures finished mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. March live cattle fell 1.90 cent to 87.90 cents a pound; March feeder cattle rose .20 cent to 98.50 cents a pound; April lean hogs rose .68 cent to 73.55 cents a pound; March pork bellies fell .17 cent to 84.80 cents a pound.
