Henry Services, Big Springs

Big Springs ? Services for Helen Louise Henry, 85, Lawrence, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Big Springs United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in East View Cemetery in Big Springs.

Mrs. Henry died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at her home.

She was born Oct. 8, 1919, in Lecompton, the daughter of Willie Irvin and Georgia Dummer Brown. She attended Lecompton schools and moved to Lawrence in 1985.

Mrs. Henry was a homemaker and a member of Big Springs United Methodist Church.

She married William Henry Jr. in 1942. He died in 1985.

Two daughters, Linda Sue Henry and Margie L. Whelan, died earlier.

Survivors include a son, Roy E. Henry, Lecompton; and two grandsons.

The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
