Milroy A. Harvey, Lincoln, Neb.

? Graveside services for Milroy A. Harvey, 91, Lawrence, will be later at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln, Neb.

Mr. Harvey died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, at his son’s home.

He was born Aug. 23, 1913, in Farwell, Neb., the son of Archibald B. and Antonia Safarik Harvey. He lived in Lawrence for the past four months.

Mr. Harvey was a railway postal transportation clerk with the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 1970. He was the first undefeated high school wrestler in Nebraska and was a high school state wrestling champion in 1929, 1930 and 1931. He was also a member of the Nebraska Wrestling Hall of Fame. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln.

He married Veona Marie Appel on March 7, 1937, in Clay Center, Neb. She died earlier.

Two grandchildren also died earlier.

Survivors include four sons, Dr. Joseph M., Lawrence, Arch J., Lincoln, James R., Woodbridge, Va., and Dr. Daniel A., Aberdeen, S.D.; a daughter, Roylynn Package, Annandale, Va.; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
