Highlights of Friday's activities at the Kansas Legislature:

Workers seeking compensation from their employers for on-the-job injuries would face new rules if their bosses suspected alcohol or drugs were involved, under a bill approved by the House.

Also:

Senate President Steve Morris said he has asked legislators, state regulators and gas producers to discuss issues with the Hugoton gas field in southwest Kansas.
