Orene Sevier, Lawrence
Services for Orene Sevier, 67, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
Mrs. Sevier died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 2, 1937, in Watson, Okla., the daughter of Simeon and Ora Johnson Watson.
Mrs. Sevier was a machine operator at Hallmark Cards Inc. for 22 years and retired in 1991. She was a member of Buffalo Indian Presbyterian Church in Watson, Okla., and attended Indian United Methodist Church in Lawrence.
She married Willie Allen Sevier on May 27, 1958, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Judy Hoffman and Julie Gudenkauf, both of Lawrence; a brother, Nathan Watson, Watson, Okla.; three sisters, Juanita Bad Bear, Crow Agency, Mont., Maxine Harper, Grant’s Pass, Ore., and Margie Watson, Watson, Okla.; and four grandchildren.
A son, Gregg Sevier, died in April 1991.
The family will receive friends at a wake service at 7 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the Orene Sevier Memorial Fund, sent in care of the mortuary.
