Mizzou wins ugly over also-bad Baylor

? Two straight qualifies as a winning streak for Missouri, considering the last time the school did that was Jan. 4 and 8.

Jason Conley had 14 points, nine rebounds and four steals, helping the Tigers outlast Baylor, 60-53, in a matchup of struggling teams Wednesday night. Baylor has lost eight in a row, and Missouri, which has won only three of 11, never could take complete control.

“It was one of those games where the other team made it so boring,” forward Linas Kleiza said. “They put us to sleep. Baylor plays that kind of game.”

Kevin Young just missed his first career double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds for Missouri (12-13 overall, 4-7 Big 12 Conference).

Bruce was 9-for-16 with three three-pointers and added two steals for Baylor (9-13, 1-10).

No. 21 OU 83, Nebraska 60

Norman, Okla. — Terrell Everett scored 18 points, and Drew Lavender added 10 in his first game coming off the bench as Oklahoma (18-6, 7-4) ended a three-game losing streak. Joe McCray had 21 points for Nebraska (11-11, 4-7).

Texas 75, Texas A&M 40

Austin, Texas — Brad Buckman had 18 points and 13 rebounds, and Texas (17-7, 6-5) used a smothering defense to overwhelm rival Texas A&M. Acie Law scored nine to lead A&M (15-7, 4-7).
