Highlights of Tuesday’s activities at the Kansas Legislature:

— Kathe Decker, R-Clay Center, chairwoman of the House Select Committee on School Finance, outlined the framework of a $65 million funding package, which relies on using existing state revenues. The plan is the third proposal to emerge as a legislative remedy to the April 12 deadline set by the Kansas Supreme Court to fix the state’s school finance formula.
