Benjamin Powell, Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY ? Services for Benjamin Powell, 76, Oklahoma City, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Southwest Church of Christ in Oklahoma City. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Wetumka Cemetery in Wetumka.

Mr. Powell died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, in Oklahoma City.

He was born Dec. 22, 1928, the son of George and Josephine Powell.

Mr. Powell served in the U.S. Air Force. He received numerous commendations for outstanding performance and served in the Office of Special Investigation. He was a recreation specialist for the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Lawrence, Kan., and Anadarko for 22 years. He was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.
