To the editor:

As no one replied to Bill and Nancy Keel’s letter to you, I feel obliged to do so. The Keels may well be opposed to abortion, as am I. Given the fact, however, that Professor Keel and his wife, as well as myself, are Americans, we must recognize the right of a woman who is pregnant to do what she wants with her body and fetus.

The Keels’ attitude would be much better directed toward protesting the sacrifice of American children (born and not fetuses) in Iraq.
