After a time-out, Chicago State’s David Inabnit — surrounded by two Kangaroo defenders — threw in an underhand shot from the baseline that went in, tying the game with 1.9-seconds left.
Missouri-Kansas City freshman Tim Blackwell’s inbounds pass from under the Cougars’ basket was intercepted by Jones, whose heave toward the basket found its mark at the buzzer.
