No. 4 Duke rolls

? Mike Krzyzewski collapsed from a dizzy spell during a timeout in the first half of No. 4 Duke’s 82-65 victory against No. 25 Georgia Tech on Saturday.

During a timeout 8 1/2 minutes into the game, “Coach K” was talking to one of the referees and suddenly fell to the floor. He lay on his right side, but never appeared to lose consciousness and coached the rest of the game.

J.J. Redick had 17 of his 26 points in the first half, Shelden Williams finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks, and Daniel Ewing added 16 points for Duke (17-2, 7-2 Atlantic Coast Conference).

Georgia Tech (13-7, 4-5) has lost five of its last seven games, all without injured guard B.J. Elder (hamstring). Jarrett Jack scored 18 points, and Luke Schenscher had 11 for the Yellow Jackets.

East Rutherford, N.J. — Jared Dudley had 20 points and 14 rebounds for Boston College (20-0, 9-0 Big East), which set the school record for a winning streak and remained with top-ranked Illinois as the only unbeatens in Division One.

Nashville, Tenn. — Patrick Sparks, Kelenna Azubuike and Chuck Hayes each scored 15 points, helping Kentucky (17-2, 8-0 Southeastern Conference) win its eighth straight.

No. 7 Wake Forest 83, Virginia Tech 63

Blacksburg, Va. — Taron Downey scored 18 points, leading Wake Forest (19-3, 7-2 ACC). Jamon Gordon led the Hokies (12-8, 5-4) with 20 points.

Syracuse, N.Y. — Gerry McNamara scored 22 points, Hakim Warrick had 20, and Syracuse staged a furious late rally to beat Notre Dame before an NCAA on-campus record crowd of 33,199. Trailing 50-39 with 6:05 left, Syracuse (21-2, 8-1 Big East) went on an 11-0 run to tie it with 3:24 left.

Birmingham, Ala. — Francisco Garcia and Juan Palacios each hit two free throws in the final 34 seconds, lifting Louisville (20-3, 8-1 Conference USA) over UAB (16-6, 6-3) and extending its winning streak to nine.

Gainesville, Fla. — David Lee, Anthony Roberson and Matt Walsh each scored 18 points, leading Florida (14-5, 6-2 SEC) past Alabama (17-4, 6-2).

No. 12 Michigan State 75, Iowa 64

Iowa City, Iowa — Kelvin Torbert scored 16 points, helping Michigan State (15-4, 6-2 Big Ten) hold off Iowa (15-6, 3-5).

No. 13 Wash. 82, UCLA 70

Seattle — Brandon Roy scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half. Washington (19-3, 9-2 Pac-10) collected 22 offensive rebounds and extended its home winning streak to 20 games, the school’s longest run since winning 23 straight in 1952-53.

Charlotte, N.C. — Brendan Plavich scored all but two of his 26 points on three-pointers to lead Charlotte (15-4, 6-2 C-USA) over Cincinnati (17-5, 6-3) in the final regular-season meeting between the Conference USA rivals.

Minneapolis — Vince Grier scored 26 of his career-high 32 points in the second half to lead Minnesota. The Gophers (16-6, 6-3 Big Ten) enhanced their chances of taking coach Dan Monson to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in his six seasons at the school.
