Loraine Maxine Elliott, Wathena

Wathena ? Funeral services for Loraine Maxine Elliott, 92, Wathena, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Hatler Cemetery in Altoona.

Mrs. Elliott died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, in Wathena.

She was born Aug. 19, 1912, in Parsons, the daughter of Alford and Mary McDermond Daggett. She grew up in Parsons and graduated from Parsons High School and Parsons Business College. She moved to Lawrence in 1957, then to St. Joseph, Mo., in 1992. In 2002, she moved to Wathena.

She married Victor Elliott on March 24, 1935, in Parsons. He died earlier.

Survivors include two daughters, Marcia Bolander, Elwood, and Evelyn Jensen, Flint, Texas; two sons, Rolland Elliott, Accokeek, Md., and Glen Elliott, Reston, Va., six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call beginning noon Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
