Kansas City Singers to perform ‘Making Love’

The Kansas City Singers will explore mature topics with humor and grace in “Making Love” Feb. 11-12 and Feb. 13 at Just Off Broadway Theater, 3051 Central St., Kansas City, Mo.

Shows are 8 p.m. Feb. 11 and 12, and 2 p.m. Feb. 13.

“Making Love” is the first project in the Kansas City Singers’ new series of Romance concerts. The singers are a professional chorus that performs contemporary arrangements of classical, folk and Americana music.

Leavenworth Players bring murder to town

The Leavenworth Players Group, a professional theater company based in Leavenworth, will perform “A Saint Valentine’s Day Murder Mystery or Rubout at Uncle Vinny’s” at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Hereford House, 4931 W. Sixth St.

The interactive murder-mystery-comedy is an engagement party for Don Vincenzo Maranzano, a businessman of Italian origin. He is announcing his engagement to Francesca Delorrosa, a leader of another Italian family.
