Waco, Texas ? Sophia Young scored 20 points, and Chameka Scott finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 4 Baylor to an 82-42 victory Thursday over Sam Houston State. The Lady Bears (10-0) extended their winning streak to 30 games.

Baylor opened the second half with a 15-0 run, taking a 58-22 lead with just over 12 minutes remaining. Young scored nine points in the run.

Britney Harris and Ratysha Alexander each scored seven points for Sam Houston State (5-5). The Lady Bears outscored the Bearkats, 48-12, in the paint.

Baylor dressed only eight players.
