Chicago Board of Trade

Grain futures advanced Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while soybean futures declined. Wheat for March delivery rose 5 1/2 cents to $3.45 1/2 a bushel; March corn rose 3/4 cent to $2.16 1/4 a bushel; March oats rose 3 3/4 cents to $1.97 1/2 a bushel; January soybeans fell 1/2 cent to $6.11 a bushel.

Beef futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures finished mixed. February live cattle rose .77 cent to 96.55 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose .72 cent to $1.15 a pound; February lean hogs rose .20 cent to 65.12 cents a pound.
