About $8,500 missing from Liberty Hall
Internal theft is suspected in the disappearance of more than $8,500 in bank deposits from a downtown entertainment landmark.
Four deposits totaling $8,537.82 turned up missing during the month of October from Liberty Hall, 642 Mass., according to a police report made public Monday. The money was shown on record books as being deposited, but the bank never received it.
Police are still investigating.
