Glass is runner-up

Lawrence’s Bob Glass settled for second place in his bid for a record fourth PBA Senior Player of the Year award.

PBA Hall of Famer Tom Baker won both the Senior Player of the Year award and the Senior Rookie of the Year award. Glass, 57, defended his title in last season’s PBA Senior Chillicothe Open and led the PBA Senior Tour points list at season’s end with 183,626 over 11 events.

Bake set a Senior Tour record with his season average of 226.97. Baker also led the Tour with $40,050 in earnings and was second in points (171,034) and match play appearances (10).

Glass led the Tour in match-play appearances (11) and was runner-up in earnings ($38,500) and average (222.45).
