Suspect in rape said to have violated bond

Prosecutors allege a 26-year-old man charged with raping an acquaintance has violated conditions of his bond by repeatedly making telephone calls to the victim.

The man was arrested Tuesday on an alleged bond violation and booked into the Douglas County Jail, where he still was being held Wednesday. He was charged in May with raping the woman at his home in the 800 block of Fieldstone Drive.

Police alleged that, after raping the woman, the man stole her cell phone and held her in a bedroom at knife point.
