¢ KVSA Clinic: Kaw Valley Soccer Assn. will conduct a winter skills clinic Saturday and Sunday at Sport 2 Sport. Sessions are set for 8 a.m., noon and 4 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday. ¢ Hoopsters Champs: Lawrence Hoopsters seventh-grade boys won last weekend’s Johnson County Holiday Classic. Team members are Nate Davis, Chris Gaston, Austin Hoag, Jake Johnson, Ross Johnson, Alex Laughlin, Michael Lembeck, Tim Lewis, Dylan Perry, Matt Wade and Garrett Wagner. ¢ Reaney Leads Aquahawks: Emma Reaney paced the Lawrence Aquahawks youth swimming and diving club with seven gold medals at the Level I state swim championships last weekend in Wichita. The Aquahawks’ Ashley Robinson captured four races, Caitlin Gallagher three and Molly Albrecht two. Chloe Portela and Chase Torgerson won one event apiece.

¢ LGA Level 7 Wins: Lawrence Gymnastics Academy won the Level 7 division of its Winter Cup meet last Friday as Jacqueline Zaitz and Drew Davis finished third and fourth respectively in the all-around. Davis won the vault and floor exercise. At Level 8, Rachael Schaffer finished third in four events.
