Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures advanced Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mostly higher. Wheat for March delivery rose 3 3/4 cents to $3.18 1/2 a bushel; March corn rose 1 cent to $2.08 3/4 a bushel; March oats remained unchanged at $2.05 a bushel; January soybeans rose 13 1/2 cents to $5.97 1/2 a bushel. Beef futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures finished mixed. February live cattle rose 1.05 cent to 96.25 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose .65 cent to $1.1482 a pound; February lean hogs rose .72 cent to 66.57 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.40 cent to 84.20 cents a pound.
