Disorder to be topic of play Thursday

Asperger’s Syndrome, a neurobiological disorder often mirroring the symptoms of autism, will be the subject of a Bert Nash play Thursday.

The play, which will be performed at the Bert Nash Center at 200 Maine, will focus on the story of an adult examining his childhood memories – a childhood, he and his doctor find, afflicted by the syndrome.

Lanell Finneran, a registered drama therapist, and Christie Dobson, a drama therapy intern, are coordinating the reading.

Bert Nash staff will be present after the performance to answer audience questions. The play begins at 6:30 p.m. and is free.
