HOLTON ? A 24-year-old woman was killed Saturday on a snowy roadway after her car collided with a tour bus carrying country music group Sawyer Brown.

Kansas Highway Patrol Capt. Steve Zeller said the crash happened around 7:45 a.m. about 10 miles south of Holton.

Zeller said it appeared the victim failed to observe a stop sign, then was broadsided by the bus heading north on U.S. Highway 75.

The woman died at the scene. Both vehicles caught fire after the crash, but no injuries were reported among the bus driver or three band members who were aboard.

Sawyer Brown was due to perform in two shows at Golden Eagle Casino in Horton on Saturday night.
