Soybean futures advanced Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mixed. Wheat for March delivery fell 1 cent to $3.12 1/4 a bushel; March corn rose 3/4 cent to $2.01 3/4 a bushel; March oats rose 2 1/2 cents to $1.97 1/2 a bushel; January soybeans rose 7 3/4 cents to $5.66 3/4 a bushel. Beef futures decreased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures were mixed. February live cattle fell .47 cent to 95.50 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell .92 cent to $1.1477 a pound; February lean hogs rose .57 cent to 66.62 cents a pound.
