¢ Dodgeball Meeting: An organizational meeting for the city’s adult winter dodgeball program will be at 7 tonight at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th Street. ¢ Soccer Tryouts: Kansas Soccer Academy will conduct a final tryout for high-school-age boys Saturday. For information, go to www.kansassocceracademy.com.

¢ LGA Third in Level 5: Lawrence Gymnastics Academy finished third at Level 5 in a meet Saturday in Olathe. Ally Clancy and Natalie Rainbolt finished seventh and ninth in the age-eight all-around. In the age-nine division, Lexi Brady and Jessie Abernathy earned fourth and sixth in the all-around. Molly Ryan was fifth in the all-around in the age-10 bracket.

¢ Baseball Camp: Kansas University baseball will conduct a skills camp for youths ages 7-18 on Dec. 27-29 at Anschutz Sports Pavilion. Day and overnight options are available. For information, call 864-7907.

¢ Free State Clinic: Free State High’s holiday basketball clinic for second through sixth graders will be at 9 a.m. Jan. 2. Walk-up registrations are welcome. For information, call 841-4204.

¢ Portela Wins Six Races: Chloe Portela of the Lawrence Aquahawks won six events at the Sprint Challenge swim meet last month at LIAC. The Aquahawks’ Emma Reaney and Ben Sloan captured four races apiece, Adam Winter had three wins, and Mitch Moore had two.

Single-event winners were Zach Andregg, Morgan Flannigan, Katie Swank and Chase Torgerson.

¢ Eifler Leads Aquahawks: Mitchell Eifler won three races to pace the Lawrence Aquahawks at the Level II East swim championships last weekend at LIAC. Four Aquahawks – Jessica Boyer, Canaan Campbell, Ethan Fisher and Phoebe Grabill – were double winners. Single-event golds went to Zach Andregg, Reese Grabill, Emily Martin, Sarah Schwartz, Lucy Dyck-Sirimongkhon and Logan Sloan.
