The annual Rube Goldberg Night will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at South Junior High School. The event will feature several machines designed by eighth-graders for turning on a light.
Rube Goldberg was a Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist whose work often poked fun at society's tendency to create complex solutions for simple problems. He died in 1970.
