Manhattan ? Marcus Holman scored 20 points, and Mark Randtke added 19 as Veritas Christian advanced to the championship of the Shea Invitational with a 54-49 boys basketball victory over Derby Christian.

“The one thing I liked about our team is we just played hard all night,” Veritas coach Doug Bennett said. “We have a lot of improving to do as a team to meet our goal of winning a state championship.”

Veritas will face either Topeka Heritage or Flint Hills Christian in tonight’s championship game.
