The Lawrence Board of Realtors helped fix a family's home in North Lawrence that was damaged by flooding that occurred in August as part of the United Way of Douglas County's Day of Caring. From left are Steve Jones, Denise Breason, Jason Todd, Cory Lange, Mary Jones, Casey Greenly, Jamie Hulse, Nancy O'Brien and Tommy Teague. The group painted the exterior, replaced some windows, did some caulking and cleaned up the yard. Kennedy Glass provided a new front window and Southland Construction paid for a storm window. Most of the work was done in October with finishing touches completed in November.
