A 22-year-old Lawrence man has been charged with lewd and lascivious behavior for allegedly masturbating at a computer terminal in Kansas University’s Anschutz Science Library.

A 23-year-old KU student called campus police after seeing the incident, which happened shortly after 11 a.m. Oct. 26. The suspect, who lists an address in Jayhawker Towers, 1603 W. 15th St., was booked into jail Wednesday, released on his own recognizance and ordered to appear in court Dec. 20.
