KU school honors longtime teachers

Kansas University’s School of Education is recognizing more than 1,000 Kansas teachers who have served for 25 years or more. KU announced the names of the honorees Friday.

The university recognizes such honors annually.

The teachers receive certificates. To view the listing, visit www.news.ku.edu.

For the teacher recognition, KU’s School of Education sends questionnaires to Kansas public school districts to obtain names of educators who should receive recognition. Certificates are issued based on responses from individual districts statewide; some school districts do not participate in the recognition program.
