Chicago Board of Trade
Soybean futures finished higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures retreated. Wheat for September delivery fell 3 1/2 cents to $3.12 1/4 a bushel; September corn fell 2 1/2 cents to $2.03 3/4 a bushel; September oats fell 2 cents to $1.48 a bushel; September soybeans rose 4 cents to $5.91 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle rose .92 cent to 83.05 cents a pound; September feeder cattle rose 1.50 cent to $1.145 a pound; October lean hogs rose .90 cent to 64.22 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 1.20 cent to 82.82 cents a pound.
