The Lawrence Seventh-Day Adventist Church will celebrate its centennial with a set of activities next weekend.
Pastor Paul Blake will lead the Sabbath School lesson discussion, followed by an 11 a.m. service led by former Pastor Rick Dye.
A potluck lunch will follow the morning worship services. At 2:30 p.m., the church will have a "music fest singspiration" with music provided by members.
That will be followed by a tour of the 5-acre property at Sixth Street and Queens Road, where the church plans to build a new building in the next year.
