Chicago Board of Trade
Soybean futures advanced Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mostly lower. Wheat for September delivery fell 5 3/4 cents to $3.17 1/4 a bushel; September corn fell 2 cents to $2.10 1/2 a bushel; September oats rose 1 cent to $1.50 a bushel; September soybeans rose 3 1/2 cents to $6.10 3/4 a bushel. Beef and pork futures retreated on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle fell .18 cent to 81.62 cents a pound; September feeder cattle fell .02 cent to $1.0915 a pound; October lean hogs fell .75 cent to 61.67 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 2 cents to 81.45 cents a pound.
