The Kansas University Small Business Development Center and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce will present a seminar this week to help owners of small businesses get the most out of their health-care programs.

The half-day seminar, “Health Care and the Small Business Owner,” is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chamber, 734 Vt.

The program will include a panel of local professionals in the field of health insurance. They will focus on educating business owners about health insurance options and boosting the cost-effectiveness of such programs.
