Kansas University's theater and film department will offer free after-school drama classes this fall for students in first through sixth grades.
Registration for first- through third-graders will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 29 in the lobby of Murphy Hall. Classes will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays on Sept. 1, 6, 8 and 13; Nov. 17 and Dec. 1 and 6.
Registration for fourth- through sixth-graders will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 17. Classes will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays on Oct. 18 and 25; and Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.
Jeanne Klein, associate professor of theater and film, will lead the classes with assistance from KU students.
