Cub Scout Pack 3059, chartered to First Presbyterian Church, will have a picnic for current and prospective new members. The picnic will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 28 at Centennial Park Shelter. Food, drinks and games will be provided. The pack primarily serves boys from Schwegler and Wakarusa schools, but any family with a boy in first through fifth grade is welcome to attend. ¢ Eudora Cub Scout Pack 3064 is having a Watermelon Feed/Raingutter Regatta at 7 p.m. today outside of Salem Chapel in Eudora. Anyone interested in Cub Scouts is encouraged to attend.
