Kansas University’s volleyball and soccer teams will offer sneak previews today.

Coach Mark Francis’ soccer team, ranked No. 23 in the preseason, will entertain Drake University in the Jayhawks’ lone exhibiton contest. Opening kick will be at 1 p.m. at SuperTarget Field.

Then coach Ray Bechard and the KU volleyball team will meet a group of alumni in an exhibition at 7 p.m. at the Horejsi Center. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Both sports will begin regular-season competition next weekend.

Volleyball will meet Alabama on Friday and UMKC on Saturday in the Jayhawk Invitational. Soccer will play host to Big Ten powers Michigan on Friday and Wisconsin on Sunday.
