Basehor — Dick Stuntz, golf course superintendent for Alvamar Inc., finished five strokes off the pace in the 36-hole KGA Senior Amateur Monday and Tuesday at Falcon Lakes GC.
Stuntz carded 74-72-146 to share seventh place with four other players. Andy Smith of Kansas City, Mo., won the event with a 71-70-141.
Doug Wilson of Lawrence shot 77-72-149 and Mike Grosdidier of Baldwin 74-75-149. Lawrence's Greg Wyatt recorded 78-78-156.
