Seabury boasts solid numbers

August 16, 2005

Seabury Academy will field teams in four sports this fall - volleyball, boys soccer and boys and girls cross country.

Seahawks' volleyball coach Craig Frederickson welcomed about 15 hopefuls, including a large class of freshmen. Soccer coach Gunnar Harmon also had around 15 prospects.

Seabury cross country coach Eric Nelson has several veterans returning. On the boys side, Charlie Moffett, last year's top runner, returns along with Adam Davis, who missed last fall because of a hamstring injury. On the girls side, the Seahawks return last year's top two runners in Katie Pottorff and Regan Sisson.

"I really feel good about our fall programs," Seabury athletic director Brian Clyne said.
