Patchy dense fog this morning should burn off around 9:00 a.m., and sunshine should return in the afternoon, according to 6News meteorologist Tim Reith.

“Watch out for the morning fog,” Reith suggests. “Allow yourself some extra time as you head off to work this morning.”

Visibility was 3 miles at the airport at 7:46 a.m.

“Hopefully by the end of the day we’ll see a lot of sunshine,” Reith says.

Reith forecasts a high of 83 today and a low of 65 tonight. Clouds should clear tonight, leaving the area under a calm clear sky.

Temperatures for the rest of the week should still be well below average, with highs in the 80’s and lows in the 60’s.
