Minneapolis Kansas City defensive tackle Junior Siavii and teammate Greg Wesley were arrested after allegedly getting into a drunken confrontation with police early Sunday in a downtown Minneapolis hotel.
Police spokesman Ron Reier said Sunday night that the two players were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
Reier said the case would be presented to the city attorney's office for possible misdemeanor charges.
According to police reports, the 335-pound Siavii charged officers, but was sprayed with a chemical irritant and arrested.
