Mandan, N.D. — Max Ellenbecker pitched one-hit ball over six innings to lift the Lawrence Raiders to a 12-0 triumph over Fargo, N.D., Friday morning in the losers bracket of the Central Plains American Legion baseball tournament.
Left-hander Ellenbecker fanned 11 and walked only two as the Raiders run-ruled Fargo in seven innings. Grant Meisenheimer pitched a 1-2-3 seventh inning.
Jake Hoover and Lorenzo Ricketts paced the Raiders' 12-hit attack with three hits apiece. Ricketts drove in three runs. Cory Cooper and Tyler Knight added a pair of hits apiece for the Raiders, 36-7.
Next for the Raiders is another elimination game at 4:30 p.m. today.
