Despite its reserves going scoreless on 0-for-11 shooting, Los Angeles broke a three-game losing streak and maintained hold on the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Sparks (12-12), playing their fifth game in an eight-game road trip, haven't missed the playoffs since 1998. They have 10 games remaining in the regular season.

Wendy Palmer-Daniel led the Silver Stars (7-20) with 17 points.
