Chicago Board of Trade

Grain and soybean futures retreated Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May delivery fell 2 1/4 cents to $3.17 1/4 a bushel; May corn fell 3 3/4 cents to $2.04 1/2 a bushel; May oats fell 5 cents to $1.42 a bushel; May soybeans fell 9 1/4 cents to $6.18 a bushel. Beef futures finished mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Pork futures were mixed. May live cattle remained unchanged at 90 cents a pound; May feeder cattle rose .40 cent to $1.084 a pound; May lean hogs rose .23 cent to 77.30 cents a pound; May pork bellies fell .35 cent to 81.60 cents a pound.
