Magazine CollegeBound Teen magazine is searching for its annual Student of the Year of Scholarship Contest winners.

High-school students are required to submit an application and a copy of their most recent transcripts. They must complete a 300- to 500-word creative essay that answers the question: If you could pick one person — living or dead, fictional or nonfictional — to be your freshman-year roommate, who would it be, and how would he or she help you succeed in college?

Applications must be received by May 13. The winners will be announced July 24.
