Perry, Clinton among tagged crappie lakes

Clinton and Perry are among five state reservoirs ticketed for monitoring the movement and harvest of crappie.

Wildlife and Parks biologists have tagged about 500 crappie at the five lakes — Hillsdale, Melvern and Cedar Bluff are the others — as part of a three-year study.

Fishermen are asked to return the tag from any tagged crappie they catch. As an incentive, KDWP will pay a reward of $5, $20 or $100 for the return of yellow tags.
