The April meeting of Kanwaka 4-H Club was called to order by Amber Budenbender, president.
Members answered roll call by naming what team they thought should have won March Madness.
Mary Cox, of the county 4-H council, gave a presentation on 4-H camp, which will be June 28-31. Applications are due by May 1.
The club will help serve the Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen meal April 30. Members received their pledge packets for the Relay for Life event at Free State High School on June 10.
Candice Meiners gave a talk on recycling crayons. Sierra Dickson showed the club how to make “Fun Flip Flops.”
Refreshments were served by the Meiners and Rennick families.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. May 9 at Kanwaka Hall.
